In honor of the Southern 500, the biggest race in NASCAR in the 1950s and the first fully paved oval, being moved back to Labor Day weekend, I have decided to list my top five Cup Series drivers of all time.

Go Green Racing (GGR) is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Earnhardt will make his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) debut with GGR in the No.32 Ford Fusion at Richmond International Speedway during the Federated Auto Parts 400 on September 12, 2015. This will mark the return of two Earnhardt's competing in the NSCS for the first time in over a decade.

A throwback conversation wouldn't be complete without the iconic No. 43 STP Ford and neither would the throwback The Tradition Returns weekend at Darlington Raceway. Joining in on the retro paint schemes, Aric Almirola will pilot the 1972 "Petty Blue" and Day-Glo Red No. 43 STP paint scheme, originally driven by "The King" Richard Petty.

BUSCH’S MILESTONE WIN: Camry driver Kyle Busch recorded his 150th NASCAR national touring series victory with a win at Tennessee’s Bristol Motor Speedway in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) last Friday night. Busch has won 33 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) races, 73 NXS events and 44 triumphs in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) – including 129 wins in a Toyota – over 12 seasons. With his NXS victory at Bristol, Busch has won nine of his last 18 starts across all three NASCAR national touring series.

Go Green Racing is excited to announce our throwback paint scheme for the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway on September 6th. The last time the No.32 went to victory lane in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, was at Darlington Raceway in 2003 with Ricky Craven behind the wheel in one of the closest finishes in NASCAR history.

When I heard that the track was selected to host the jam band Phish for their Magnaball festival just a couple of weeks after the big NASCAR race weekend this summer I decided that I needed to see how the track facilities would be used for such an event due to the significant differences in the events. The festival was a three-day event that had one main theme; Phish and their music.
