Seventh-Place for Chris Buescher at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Roush Fenway Racing’s Chris Buescher had a fast Zest Ford Mustang in Friday evening’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, coming home with a seventh-place finish. The top-10 finish was Buescher’s 19th of the season, and keeps him in the lead of the driver point standings.

Wallace earns 8th consecutive top-10 finish on 1.5-Mile tracks with 8th-place finish at Charlotte

Bubba Wallace, driver of the No. 6 Ford EcoBoost Ford Mustang, utilized a three-wide move on a late-race restart to record an eighth-place finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The finish marked Wallace’s eighth consecutive top-10 finish at 1.5 mile tracks, dating back to Las Vegas in March.

Dillon on Fire in Charlotte

Austin Dillon was on fire at Charlotte Motor Speedway; at one point, literally. Dillon qualified on the pole for Friday's Drive for the Cure 300 by edging fellow cup driver Kasey Kahne with a speed of 183.524 mph. During pre-race activities, one of the fireworks that were set off, misfired and landed on Dillon and his car, burning his fire suit.
