As the NASCAR Cup Series returns from its two-week summer break, the pressure is rising for drivers and teams who have yet to lock themselves into the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

Dover Motor Speedway will once again pay tribute to the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks with the annual 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive on Wednesday, Sept. 11 (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.).

In advance of NASCAR’s Playoff wildcard weekend Oct. 11-13, paving has begun on a section of the infield road course designed to create more passing zones.

This Saturday, a full day of on-track action awaits fans at North Wilkesboro Speedway, as the zMAX CARS Tour takes to the famed .625-mile race track.

The zMAX CARS Tour returns this Saturday, Aug. 3, for the rescheduled Reverend 100 Pro Late Model race and Window World 125 Late Model Stock Car race.

On Sunday, Larson stood triumphantly on Victory Podium and kissed the fabled Yard of Bricks after completing a wild climb to an overtime victory in the Brickyard 400 presented by PPG.

PPG, a global leader in paints, coatings and specialty materials, announced a multiyear agreement to extend its presenting sponsorship of the Brickyard 400, a crown jewel of the NASCAR Cup Series schedule held annually at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

NASCAR’s return to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval was worth the wait, if Riley Herbst’s thrilling victory Saturday in the Pennzoil 250 presented by Advance Auto Parts was any indication.

Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports and chairman and CEO of Hendrick Automotive Group, will serve as honorary Pace Car driver for the Brickyard 400 presented by PPG on Sunday, July 21.

William Ashley is back as an official partner and the trophy provider of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES race this Sunday at Exhibition Place
