Overcoming a mistake in communication, Ben Rhodes charged to the front in the closing laps of Saturday’s Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway and snatched the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory from runner-up Carson Hocevar.

Ben Rhodes earned his first victory of the season by sweeping the stages and making a late-race pass to score the win at the dirt race at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday evening.

This weekend at the Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway Dirt Track, Young’s Motorsports welcomes Kaz Grala back as the driver of the No. 02 Ruedebusch Chevrolet Silverado RST who returns to the organization for the third time during the 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Hocevar on the first dirt race on the 2022 schedule: “Dirt racing has a lot of unknowns – anybody can be good on the right day, especially on the dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway."

The 24-year-old driver will be making his eighth career start on a dirt track in Camping World Truck series action. Nemechek has previously made five starts at Eldora (Ohio) Speedway, and one start each at Knoxville (Iowa) and Bristol Dirt.
